SMH Archives 1955-1995

We have just subscribed to the SMH archives 1955-1995. The afternoon editions have been digitised. It includes stories, images, advertisments, including classifieds – the whole newspaper. There is a very useful FAQ section and search tips, which should answer most questions that you may have about the site. We have a single user licence. This means that only one person at a time can be logged in. You can search without being logged in, but you cannot access the articles. Ask at your local library branch for access.
